Stand-up comic, actor, and musician Vir Das got the surprise of his life when his comedy special ‘Vir Das: For India’ was nominated for International Emmy. Getting international recognition like this one is definitely a big deal and probably that’s the reason why the ‘Delhi Belly’ actor was taken by surprise.

“I thought it was a joke, this can’t be real,” Hindustan Times quoted him saying. He further added, “Then my management confirmed the news,” he divulged.
Well, after celebrating the nomination, it’s time for Vir to prep for the ceremony. In this regard, the ‘Go Goa Gone’ actor also had something special planned. Earlier, Vir expressed his willingness to wear clothes made by newbie talents from the fashion industry to the Emmys rather than getting dolled up by some expensive ‘glam goo designer’. He shared that he wanted to introduce someone struggling and new to the world.

Well, looks like the wait is over. The 42-year-old actor has finally found someone who will be dressing him up in his apparel. Introducing a 4th-year fashion student Pradeep Bhatt, to his social media followers, Vir wrote that he’s going to buy and wear the clothes Pradeep would design for him.
So remember how I said I didn't wanna wear some expensive glam goo designer to the International Emmys? I wanted to introduce someone struggling and new to the world. Pradeep wrote to us. He's a student, I'm gonna be buying and wearing his stuff. World meet Pradeep. pic.twitter.com/GeZLEWDkMm
