UP Woman Pleas For Divorce As Her Husband ‘Loves Her Too Much’ & Never Fights

I don’t trust humans. Because you never know what they are capable of! On one hand, there are people living lonely, companion-less lives dying for some love, and on the other hand, there are people who can’t digest “too much love”. Matlab, hai kya yeh?

I say this because one woman from Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district went to court and sought a divorce from her husband because he “loves her too much”. According to a report by Times Now, the woman told the Sharia court that her husband doesn’t fight with her and that she cannot “digest” his love. Lo karlo baat!

“Neither does he (husband) shout at me nor does he ever disappoint me over any issue. I am feeling suffocated in such an environment. Sometimes he cooks for me and also helps me in performing household chores. Whenever I make a mistake, he always forgives me for that,” the woman said.

She went on to add, “I wanted to argue with him. I do not need a life where the husband agrees to anything”

This comes after the couple’s 18 months of marriage. Needless to say, the Sharia court cleric handling the case was shocked! He asked the woman whether there was any other issue, to which she answered ‘no’.

The cleric then went on to reject her divorce plea calling it “frivolous”. The woman then moved the case to the local panchayat who too couldn’t decide what to do!

The husband, on the other hand, claimed that he always wants to see his wife happy. He went on to ask the court to return the case.

The Sharia court has asked the couple to resolve their issues mutually.

Now coming back to my trust issues, in a world where a loving, supportive, and helpful husband like this man is rejected, what chance do us flawed humans have?
