Jailed UP Gangster Invites 6 Cops To Party On Way Back From Court, Gets Them Drunk & Escapes

Baddan Singh a.k.a Baddo, a gangster from Uttar Pradesh was sentenced to life in prison. He was charged with atleast 10 cases including murder, being a dacoit and more.

The gangster recently hoodwinked six cops who were escorting him back to prison after a court hearing in Meerut. And, that too in bang-on Bollywood style.

Baddo invited the cops who were taking him back to the jail to a hotel on Dehli road in Meerut where his friends had thrown a liquor party.

“We have detained seven policemen, including an inspector, but they are still not in their senses. We hope to arrest him soon,” said Nitin Tiwari, Senior Superintendent of Police, Meerut to The Indian Express.

The court convicted him last year in October, charging him for the murder of a lawyer in 1996. He had also approached the Supreme Court last month seeking parole. He wanted to meet his son who had come to Meerut from Australia for a month. However, his appeal remains pending in the court until now.

The dacoit’s Mirzapur style escape would give even Kalin Bhaiya and Munna a run for their money. Meanwhile, we’re appalled at the inefficiency of UP policemen who allowed the dangerous criminal to escape.

Transporting such a dangerous gangster necessitates a small squad of hardened cops rather than lackadaisical policemen keen to accept a criminal’s invite to drink on the job.
