There are several misconceptions circulating about the ‘magical’ fountain. Namely-
Myth #1- Social media users believe the fountain is located somewhere Thailand.
Myth #2- They also believe that it was made by a Buddhist.
Myth #3- It can only rise when one chants OM!
However, recent reports show that the same is not true. A fact check by India Today revealed the truth-
#1- The sound fountain is located in Buddha caves in North China, not Thailand.
#2- It is not a natural one but a voice-controlled sound fountain made by the Himalaya Music Company.
#3- The artificial fountain springs up not just by the sound of OM but by making any loud sound!
Furthermore, here’s a video that explains how the model of the fountain works! It was shared by the YouTube channel of Himalaya Music Fountain.
In fact, they even posted about the science behind the mystery, “Shout fountain or voice-controlled is installed with a voice control system.
“When people input sound through a microphone, the sound is converted to signals and passed to the control system, finally to control the water spray heightbycontrol system,” they stated.
