Being in a relationship is not just the cute stuff they show in movies, it is not just lading your partner with jewels and is definitely not just putting a rock on her finger. It demands so much more than that, being in a relationship is forgetting yourself and giving all your attention to your partner, giving them all your time, no matter how much that hurts or proves difficult to you.

Men, one romantic gesture per month doesn’t make you a romantic man. Regardless of your years together, a wife will never stop desiring to be desired. And ladies, don’t confuse an expensive gift with a romantic gesture. Too many men try to buy their way out of the responsibility of connection. Our wives don’t need another ring or another thing, they need our attention, our intention, and our affection.
Husbands, leadership in your home doesn’t come from the amount of money you bring into your marriage, it doesn’t come from the strength of your body in comparison to hers, it comes through the relentless ability to remind your wife of her place in the priorities of your heart.
At the end of the day, it’s the love between two person which matters most, not the materialistic things that come between.
