Lipstick Under My Burkha is a story of four women, who try to find themselves under the shade of the burkha, the security of it and the insecurities within them. This trailer uploaded by Prakash Jha Productions starring seasoned actors like Ratna Pathak and Konkana Sen Sharma with other talented newcomers, seems to promise to give voice to the otherwise burkha-clad women of India who are more than just faces hidden away. There is more to wonder about the chance to be human.
