Marvel has made superheroes like Iron Man, Captain America and Dr. Strange a household name. However, the Hindi Film Industry has tried and failed to do so with characters like G.One and Flying Jatt. But things are looking up as Vikramaditya Motwane has taken things into his own hands with Harshvardhan Kapoor at the helm.
The first trailer for ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ has dropped and features a lot of neon-drenched action sequences and also gives our first look at Harshvardhan Kapoor sans his mask. While the teaser was much more dark and grim, the trailer begins with a lighter tone to showcase the innocent origins of the vigilante.

‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ seems different from the get go because it doesn’t feature an antagonist who wants to take over the world or something. Here the villains are the politicians and humanity’s vices, like corruption and littering. And that’s what motivates three friends to exact justice on their level. However, when things go awry, it looks like Harshvardhan’s character dons the mask and kicks some ass.
While movies like ‘Baahubali’ has achieved a lot in the area of VFX, it’s a fact that we’ve a long way to go before perfecting our CGI. So, Vikramaditya Motwane’s decision to keep things grounded and relatable should be lauded. I can’t wait to see Bhavesh Joshi in action on May 25th, 2018.
