“Music is the soul of life.” And, while many of us love humming melodies, not everyone can hit the right notes while singing. It requires a lot riyaaz and hard work to become a master in classical music. In fact, sometimes it takes people years to get the right rhythm.
Speaking of which, twitter user Sandhya recently shared a video of a toddler gracefully singing a classical song. In the undated video, a 3-year-old can be seen singing to the tune of a harmonium as he attempts to perfect his ‘taal and sur‘ while imitating his father. Tanhaji Jadav from Surat was playing the harmonium while his toddler was practising Natya Sangeet, which is a popular classical form of singing in Maharashtra, reports Indian Express.

For the uninitiated, acing a classic song is not an easy task at all. And, the way the little boy sings dedicatedly attempts the alaap while imitating his father is impressive. Many people online applauded the little genius and his mesmerizing voice.
What spirits! Remembered Pu. La.’s creation Rao Saheb when the latter goes berserk on the actor who dares to change the tune of this song 😁. They both would have been proud to see/hear this!

Khoopach chhaan !
I must also appreciate the Baba singing, encouraging patiently the kid on the harmonium.
Glimpses tell me that he is a very good singer of natya sangeet and the kid will soon reach there.
Good wishes to both!

Indian classical music is the most complex yet the most beautiful of all forms of music.
Yet, today’s generation goes in search of music of other lands when we have such rich treasures in our own
