Needless to say, people online were not impressed. A page compared the necklace’s price to actual phone cords available in the market worth $5 (Rs. 362) only:

Here’s what others had to say:

  1. Meri daadi ka landline cord wapis karo bhai!

2. Yeh toh ghar pe DIY friendship bracelet banaya tha bachpan mein!

3. Way too expensive! How even?!

This reminded me of other fashion products like Balenciaga’s transparent ‘blanket bags’ that resembled our kambal bags and Louis Vuitton’s luxury face shields with golden studs. Which bizarre trend surprised you the most? Tell us!
