“Whoever Ramu Doesn’t Like, Does Very Well,” Sonam Takes A Dig At RGV For Shaming Tiger

Before Twitter came into our lives, we all knew Ram Gopal Varma as a celebrated filmmaker who gave us classics like ‘Sarkar’, ‘Satya’ and ‘Raktha Charitra’. And now that we know what goes on his mind, thanks to his (in)famous tweets, RGV has turned himself into a laughingstock.

Not too long ago, he body-shamed Tiger Shroff in a series of tweets, calling him a ‘bikini babe’. The comment sparked huge outrage and now Sonam Kapoor has joined the slam-RGV bandwagon.

In an interview with DNA, Sonam Kapoor shared her thoughts on RGV passing insensitive and derogatory remarks on Tiger Shroff’s birthday through Twitter. Laughing, she says,

“They should be happy that Ramu doesn’t like Tiger. Whoever Ramu doesn’t like, does very well. I am very happy.”

Sonam further praised Tiger for his gentlemanly behaviour, strong work ethics and amazing performances.

“I like Tiger. He’s very cool and least bothered. He is very well-behaved and performs so beautifully. I saw him performing recently at an awards event and he did such a good job. It was a pleasure to watch. I just haven’t had the chance to watch his performance, except for his first film, but whatever I see him at events and parties, I find the way he conducts himself very dignified.”

Adding to her thoughts, Sonam advised people like RGV to not judge anyone based on their silly preconceptions.

“As human beings, we need to break these preconceived notions based on someone who looks a certain way, or is a certain size. Never judge a book by its cover.”

RGV should probably take a class on moral ethics, gender typecasting and racial stereotyping before posting his next tweet.
