Soldier’s Homecoming Video Goes Viral As He Surprises His Wife And Newborns In The Hospital!

Being married to a soldier is never easy. Yet having your spouse deployed when you go in labour is a whole new trial. Kansas resident Cydney Cooper faced it all on her own since her hubby was in the military and deployed in Kuwait. Pre-term labour saw the Cooper blessed with a second set of twins. But, her husband missed their birth.

Their newborn daughters were premature and spent their first 12 days in the NICU. However, little did Cydney know that Skylar (her husband) was rushing to the hospital to surprise them!

An emotional video of their reunion has gone viral touching the hearts of millions of netizens. Cydney later shared the video on Facebook in a post.

“One year of crazy, 1000s of miles, 1 solo pregnancy and delivery, 48392 Skype calls, some superheroes, a few plane rides, 12 NICU days, tons of help from family and friends, and many tears later…. A soldier came home,” Cydney wrote.

The now viral video has Cydney cradling one of the newborns just as Skyler sneaks into the frame. Armed with flowers and balloons, he surprises her just as Cydney is about to text him an update about their newborns. The moment they’re eyes meet, the new mom bursts into tears of joy at the homecoming!

Cydney reveals how who’d planned the delightful surprise. “The nurses and his mom are actually who orchestrated the whole surprise I was texting him…and they had known the entire time he was out in the waiting area,” the mother of four, told 13 NEWS.
