Shahid Afridi Just Got A Legal Notice For His ‘More Love In India’ Statement. WTF!

After much hassle, the Pakistani cricket team was allowed to reach the Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International Airport amidst security reassurances from India.

And now T20 World Cup captain, Shahid Afridi has landed himself in a soup after making a statement that he feels he is more loved in India than back at home.

He was taken to court for “committing treason” and “hurting sentiments” of Pakistanis.

A senior lawyer in Pakistan, Azhar Saddique, has issued the legal notice to the 36-year-old Afridi.

He said, “I have served a legal notice on Shahid Afridi and ‘de facto’ chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi for their love for India over Pakistan. I have also written to PCB chairman Shahryar Khan to launch an inquiry into the statement of Afridi in India.”

He also added, “Afridi has let down the whole Pakistani nation for expressing more love for India than Pakistan. In fact, he has committed treason. Now who will ensure that Pakistani team will play against India in Kolkata in T20 match to win.”
It’s okay Shahid Afridi. We hope you get out of this mess.

After all, it’s India. Who wouldn’t fall in love with this country?
