When in doubt (or bored) scroll through Twitter. That’s pretty much what I have been doing lately. And RN, a lot’s going on the microblogging site. While people were divided over Apple’s recent launch, students online were worried kahin school na reopen ho jae!
According to a report by The Indian Express, a spokesperson of the Punjab government said that they have decided to reopen schools and coaching institutions after October 15, obviously in a graded manner, taking into account all the necessary safety measures during a pandemic.
When it comes to other states, the Uttar Pradesh government announced that schools can reopen for class 9 to 12 students from October 19. Andhra Pradesh government will not reopen schools before November 2. Furthermore, schools will remain shut till 31 October in the national capital, reports Zee News.
While the government is slowly trying to open up all activities in the country, students, teachers, and the general public are sharing their two cents on the decision.
