“My Assistant Madhuri Was There, They Didn’t Need Me,” Saroj Khan Slams ‘Tamma Tamma Again’

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are peas of the same pod. Apart from being the best of pals off-screen, the duo makes a great on-screen couple too. And the twosome recently turned into an awesome threesome when ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl, Madhuri Dixit taught them grooves and helped re-create the classic ‘Tamma Tamma’ for their upcoming film, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania‘.

While the song has got everybody tapping feet, the original choreographer, Saroj Khan, who wasn’t invited to the screening of the revamped version unlike others associated with the song, has put her foot down.

According to a report in DNA, Saroj Khan is pretty miffed with the makers of ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and the treatment she has received. Throwing shade, she said, 

“Why should they call me? They don’t owe me anything? Maybe they felt since my assistant Madhuri Dixit was there, they didn’t need me around.”

 

She even went out on a limb when she was asked about the reason of her absence. And retorted with nothing but sarcasm.

“You have to ask them why I wasn’t invited. I don’t mind not being invited….The new version of any of my dance numbers have to be of some standard for them to invite me to watch it.”

Oh, that’s not it!

 

The veteran choreographer even refused to have watched the new version. On being asked if she liked it, she was quoted saying,

“I haven’t seen the whole song. I’ve just seen the trailer. And I can’t comment.”

Well, it’s no rocket science to assess that she is not very pleased! Wonder what her ‘assistant’, Madhuri has to say about this!
