To be fair, we all get irritated when a kid in the colony calls us ‘uncle’.
But Salman Khan is in a league of his own. Rules of the universe and the Indian judiciary bend around him like rays of sunlight around gravity.
When Varun Dhawan was just a 7-year-old kid, he visited a trial show of ‘Judwaa’ in which Salman was in a starring role.
Like a true 7-year-old, Varun called Salman Khan ‘uncle’ and Salman Khan lost his cool and wanted to slap him.
“I will slap you if you call me that, call me Salman bhai. I don’t care if you are David Dhawan’s son I won’t allow you inside theatre if you call me uncle”
Understandably, Salman Khan was really upset! And his reaction was totally justified. Who doesn’t want to terrorize a 7-year-old kid with a threat that diminishes the influence of his father too.
Varun Dhawan, from that day on is obviously terrified of ‘Salman Bhai’ and came out with a statement that he doesn’t want to disappoint Salman Khan by acting in a reboot of the movie ‘Judwaa.’
“We all have spoken to him it’s a personal thing. His blessings are always there. I don’t want to disappoint him (Salman), them (Sajid Khan and David Dhawan) and the audience.”
Poor Varun Dhawan, still under the fear of getting slapped by non-uncle Salman Khan.
