Meet The Man Who Stole Bronze Medal Winner Sakshi Malik’s Heart And Is Going To Marry Her!

Sakshi Malik had recently admitted that she was going to get married to a fellow wrestler. She had even gone forth and said that he is a supportive man and will encourage her to wrestle in the future.

One thing was missing – his name.

Now we know.

Sakshi Malik is going to marry fellow wrestler Satyawart Kadian. According to reports, they had agreed to marry even before Sakshi had left for Rio to compete in the Olympics.

Both Sakshi and Satyawart are from Rohtak and come from wrestling families. Satyawart’s father is an Arjuna Awardee and taught Satyawart to wrestle in his own akhada in Rohtak.

 

Satyawart is no stranger to international glory. He won the silver medal at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, 2014 and also the bronze medal at the Asian Championships the same year.

He competes in the 97 kg category and is a very big man.

 

He also seems like a nice guy because he was the first person to wish Sakshi after her Bronze medal win in Rio.

We wish them a very happy and married life. Keep wrestling and bring India more medals!

 

Sakshi has promised to not quit wrestling even after marriage.

“One thing is for sure that I will not quit wrestling after marriage. In fact, my resolution to take my game to another level has been strengthened more than ever now.”
