Sagarika Ghatge Breaks Her Silence On Rumors Of Dating Zaheer Khan In A Candid Interview

When Yuvraj Singh got married to Hazel Keech last year, a lot of Indian cricket stars attended the grand wedding celebrations. Former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan was seen at the wedding too with ‘Chak De! India’ fame actress, Sagarika Ghatge. This started rumours of the two dating that spread like wildfire.

 

In a recent interview with Mid Day, Sagarika broke her silence on her alleged relationship with the former Indian speedster.

“Let’s just say I am in a very happy space right now. I have never spoken about my personal relationships. In fact, I have never spoken about anything to the press. Personal space is not for discussion.”

 

The actress, who is starring in the upcoming movie ‘Irada‘ alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Divya Dutta, said that she is not going to change herself in any way just because she is dating a cricketer.

“I will remain just the way I am: low profile as ever. Why should I be any different just because I am linked to someone? I am not the kind who can put up a farce. I have no shame in admitting that I draw into my shell easily and come out only when I have to speak. I have big respect for Zaheer’s game and before you ask, yes he will watch my film (Irada) when it releases.”

 

From leaving a cricketer in reel-life to dating one in real, Sagarika’s love life is certainly an irony of sorts.
