Road rage is a common phenomenon that has seen a recent rise in India. It’s usually propagated by people who’re so attached to their vehicles that they absolutely lose it when they’re harmed. Or it’s caused by people who’re frustrated and want a reason to vent it. So they use their vehicles as an excuse to take it out on others. And that isn’t a pretty sight for those who’re at the receiving end of those angry slurs.
The latest person to become a victim of Mumbai’s road rage was ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ actress, Rupali Ganguly, who was on her way to drop her son at school.
Rupali was at Andheri’s Bharat Nagar signal junction in the morning to drop her 5-year-old son for school. However, things went sideways when her car grazed past a bike and the bikers began to attack her for that.
The incident was extremely shocking and Rupali took to Twitter to narrate the incident.
1. Look at the state of the window.
For the first time in my life I experienced #RoadRage!2 #Hooligans on a bike smashed my car window and kept hurling abuses at me in front of my 5yr old son!I dint note down the number or even take their pics-my only agenda was to get my petrified child n his caretaker to safety! pic.twitter.com/YJVZYhIDzy

Thankfully, Mumbai Police took on the case and did their best to nab the criminals in question.

It’s certainly strange to see how men don’t think even twice before reacting so violently. While Rupali was hurt, she and her kid could’ve been seriously injured and that too for what? This certainly shows that the last line of hope is our police. We thank them for helping Rupali and we hope that she recuperates from her injuries in no time.
