Every day, while travelling via public transport, we come across so many people who try to get into moving vehicles, not caring about any accidents that may happen as a result. From people hanging from crowded buses to passengers trying to board moving trains, such incidents are plenty.
For example, recently, the Ministry of Railways took to Twitter to post a video of a man trying to board a moving train. The dangerous video shows how the passenger rushes towards the moving train, manages to get one foot inside the couch but then slips, leaving his body dangerously hanging from the outside the train.
The train continues to drag his body along the platform for a while until alert RPF officials saw the man and were quick enough to push him inside the coach.
“However fit and smart you are, please don’t try to entrain/detrain a moving train”, wrote the Ministry of Railways.
Watch the video here:
A passenger tried to board moving 12915 Ashram Exp. at Ahmedabad Station but he slipped and was about to fall in between platform & train. He was promptly pushed back into the coach by the RPF staff. Netizens are nothing but disappointed at the passenger for putting his life at risk for a train journey, but are appreciative of the RPF personnel’s presence of mind for saving the man’s life.
Thanks Railway Protection Force which saved the life of a traveler but also saved a family from being orphaned ..

I fully agree with U
No doubt the RPF staff deserve APPRECIATION 👏, but by such timely help by RPF, PPL shud not get a feeling that they can get assistance even if they are at fault.
On D contrary, this person shud hv been stopped & penalized,as the incident cud hv been fatal

And if you can't make it, it's okay to miss a journey. Missing your train can't be more precious than your life

Thanks, RPF 🙏
Should have stopped the train and pulled him up with a fine.— PK (@iPkoppula) September 24, 2019
Absolutely! Nothing is worth risking your life.
You can get another train but you will not get another life.— Shahab Jafri (@ShahabJafri55) September 24, 2019
Even if you are running late, please do not try to catch a moving vehicle. Safety always comes first.
