So, news flew in, that Aeroporto da Madeira (Madeira Airport) is renamed Aeroporto Internacional da Madeira, Cristiano Ronaldo, honouring the island’s son. And, pictures of the statue that was put up in front of the airport that is supposed to be Ronaldo are out. The resemblance it bears with the Real Madrid forward is uncanny….NOT.
We could see an awkward Ronaldo putting up a brave face at the ceremony in Funchal, Madeira on Wednesday.
