Love At First Cry? Hospital Welcomes Baby Romeo And Juliet Hours Apart In Adjacent Rooms!

With Yogi Adityanath taking over as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, ‘anti-Romeo squads’ is a word we all have become acquainted with. Now, I don’t know how Shakespeare would react to the use of the name of one of his iconic characters for moral policing in an Indian state, but he would certainly be happy with the following news.

In what can only be called a happy coincidence, Coastal Carolina Hospital in South Carolina, USA welcomed a boy named Romeo and a girl named Juliet into the world just hours apart from each other.

While Romeo was born to Morgan and Edwin Hernandez, Christiana and Allen Shifflett celebrated the birth of their daughter, Juliet just after 18 hours in the next room. The parents of the two kids didn’t know each other prior to this and had chosen the names early in their pregnancies.

Cassie Clayshulte, the official newborn photographer of the hospital, posted the ‘oh-so-adorable’ pictures of the two kids on Facebook.

When asked about the beautiful coincidence, Cassie chose such perfect words to describe that even Shakespeare would be proud.

“It’s Romeo and Juliet without the tragedy part and with love instead.”

And if you’re imagining this as the sweetest beginning of a love story, Cassie is way ahead of you. She also did a Romeo and Juliet themed photoshoot of the two kids.

“We’ve already made jokes they need an arranged marriage. I had told them that if they want to book me now as their wedding photographer, they could do that.”

If these two kids end up together, won’t it be the cutest love story ever?!

Plus, great story for a rom-com.
