If you are a Ritviz fan you might have heard the famous 2017 song ‘Udd Gaye’ at least once. However, if you are thinking that you heard a similar version of this song while watching a movie recently, then you are correct. At a time when remixes and recreation of original tracks has become a trend, it might seem that the original creator of the song Ritviz Srivastava might have collaborated with the makers of the Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, however, this isn’t the case.
Singer and electronic music producer Ritiviz recently took to social media and alleged that his song, ‘Udd Gaye’, was used in a movie without his permission, reported Outlook.

He even slammed T-series and the makers for using his song without his permission and plagiarising it, reported News18. Apparently, the moviemakers came up with the song with the same title too.
Even Diet Sabya (the anonymous account that exposes imitations or copy of original content) pointed out the same.
After seeing Ritiviz’s post, his fans and people from the music industry came in support for him:
But this isn’t the first time a music composer has accused the makers of a movie of plagiarism. Earlier, British music composer Dr Zeus accused the makers of ‘Bala’ for recreating the remix of his original song ‘Don’t Be Shy’ by Rouge, without his permission.
Firstly, I think the remake culture has gone too far and needs to STOP immediately. Secondly, it isn’t fair to not credit or take permission from the original content creators for their work.
