Real Life ‘The Vow’ Story – Woman Falls In Love With The SAME MAN After Losing All Memory

What would you do if you lost every memory you have had of the past 20 years?

It means you forget who your mom and dad are, who your brother is, where you were born, where you went to school; your first crush – everything. The only memory you have left is how to speak, eat, drink and survive.

Pretty horrible, right?

Jessica Sharman, a 19-year-old girl suffered from epilepsy. Last March, she had a very severe epileptic fit on a subway. When she woke up she lost every memory from the last 19 years.

She did not remember her mother, her father or even her boyfriend, Rich. Rich Bishop was a complete stranger, according to her.

“Everyone was a stranger to me. I didn’t even know my own name.”

She had to restart her relationships from scratch. Her mother and father convinced her quickly enough. Although, they had to show her family photos so that she would agree to get into the car to drive home from the hospital!

But the whole process was frightening. Imagine losing everything you remember about everyone. And then all of a sudden someone comes to you and claims to be your parent.

“I found a mirror and looked at my reflection but it was like I was looking at a stranger.”

The most difficult part of her recovery was Rich, her boyfriend. She could not remember him at all, even when he told her everything they did together and showed her all the photos. She hated him in the beginning

Her parents would leave her alone with him and she would hate it.

It got to a point where she decided to break up with him. After spending two weeks with him she told him it was over.

Rich was hurt but promised that he would help her remember how great they were together.

Rich did not give up. He remained sweet, tolerant, patient and caring. He made it a mission to make Jessica fall in love with him again.

And it worked. One day Jessica melted and agreed on a date. But she made no promises, and Rich agreed.

Eventually, she fell in love with him again.

But it is not a happy ending at all. Jessica still has the condition and doctors have said that there is a 50% chance that she might lose all of her memory in another fit again. But Rich is not afraid.

Jessica is confident that Rich can make her fall in love again.

“Rich was able to make me fall in love with him twice — so I know he could do it again.”

Happy Valentine’s Day people. Hold your loved ones near. Even though they do not get epileptic seizures, make them fall in love with us every day.
