82-year-old industrialist, Ratan Tata, has achieved plenty of milestones in his life. He doesn’t really need a blue tick alongside his name on social media to verify his popularity. But has surely got one!
The chairman of one of the world’s leading industries, Tata Sons, Ratan joined Instagram in October 2019. With just a handful of posts on his page, Ratan Tata has earned 1 million followers just in a matter of months.
The business tycoon shared a heartfelt note for his followers and thanked them for their support. “I do believe that the quality of connections you make in this age of the internet is far greater than any number. Being a part of your community and learning from you is truly exciting and makes me very happy and I hope our journey together continues,” he wrote.
From introducing the country’s cheapest passenger car, Tata Nano to making Tata Consultancy Services, the first Indian software company to cross $1 billion in revenue, Ratan Tata has played a pivotal role in making India rise at international levels.
He has also rightly earned the highest civilian awards of India, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan in 2000 and 2008 respectively.
