Ranbir Kapoor is inarguably one of the leading romantic heroes in Bollywood today. The actor has delivered memorable performances in flicks like ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Barfi!’. However, the actor refuses to claim the title of best romantic hero in Bollywood, and feels someone else is deserving of such an honour.
Ranbir Kapoor feels that the ‘Badshah of Romance’ Shah Rukh Khan, is truly one of the finest romantic heroes in the industry. He says that SRK adds a special charm to the roles he plays which is ‘very hard’.
“He has got a very strong way of how he says a dialogue, how he dances, how he romances, how he cries. He’s got a particular charm and that charm is very hard.”
I agree with Ranbir on that one.
He even talks about his own romantic roles and feels that SRK would have done these differently as each role reflects one’s personality.
“When you see my work in the rom-coms I have done, the romantic films… It’s pretty much the same, because you have to reflect your personality. When you see Mr. Shah Rukh Khan play these parts, he has got a very strong personality.”
SRK certainly has a very strong screen presence and unequivocally remains one of the most charming actors in Bollywood.
