Mandira Bedi’s Husband Raj Kaushal Passes Away After A Cardiac Arrest, Celebs Offer Condolences

Mandira Bedi had been married to Raj Kaushal since 1999. He was a writer, director, and producer and helmed three films in his career including ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhie Kabhie’ and ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’. He was also popular for producing the film ‘My Brother Nikhil’.

Raj Kaushal passed away at 4.30 AM today after suffering from cardiac arrest, reports Ths Indian Express. Actor Rohit Roy, who stood by a grieving Mandira Bedi, said:

“Raj passed away this morning, around 4.30 am, he had a heart attack. He was at home, by the time the family could get any medical help, Raj had gone.”

Many celebrities from the entertainment industry, including Neha Dhupia, Anupam Kher, Tisca Chopra and Manoj Bajpayee, offered their condolences, reports India Today. Have a look:

TOI reports that many celebrities including Dino Morea, Ronit Roy, and Ashish Chowdhury were present during the funeral. Raj Kaushal is survived by his wife Mandira and son Veer and daughter Tara.
