Exams cancelled, you all pass the year! These dreamy words for students actually turned into reality due to the pandemic. Maharashtra government cancelled the terminal exams for final year students in order to maintain social distancing norms, reports Mumbai Mirror.
However, while students from the state rejoiced, others wondered ‘Yeh Anyaye Kyu?’. According to NDTV, student bodies from Delhi requested the government to axe their exams too. Students said that they should be promoted without appearing for exams given the current situation.
