The news crew was covering a live story near the Atlantic Station when suddenly a woman crashed a car into a security gate nearby. And, then in an attempt to flee the scene, she jumped into the news van and took off immediately, reports the New York Post.
The pregnant reporter, who was still in the van, yelled for help and tried to get the woman to stop. However, when she refused to do so, the reporter managed to get into the passenger seat and buckle her seatbelt. The van eventually crashed about a mile (Approximately 1.6 kilometers) from the first crash site and was completely wrecked.

Seniqua Lunsford, 38, was arrested and charged with kidnapping by the Atlanta police. Thankfully, the reporter was not injured in the crash, but the carjacker suffered an injury to her arm. Carelessness while driving never results in anything good. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
