PC went to Berlin and the internet fell apart. Mostly because she met our beloved PM, Narendra Modi. He in turn broke the internet when his sensational picture with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel! Both of these became a wide-spread internet meme craze.
But there was one more thing that happened on PC’s Berlin tour which hurt the sentiments of many on Twitter.
Priyanka Chopra visited the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin and took a few selfies. It goes without saying, that the Berlin Memorial is devastatingly beautiful. But it is disrespectful to click selfies since it is a memorial ground for more than 3 million Jews.
While PC did click pictures and post them on her Instagram story, people did not quite approve of it. It created an outrage, as she is a public figure and should know better.
