Ramdev Baba’s Next Stop Is To Take On McDonald’s And KFC. Do I Whiff Patanjali Burgers?

In less than 10 years Patanjali Ayurved has become a brand you will find everywhere! Associated with Ramdev Baba’s charm, it claims products that are healthy, cheaper and PURE in every way possible.

In 2016-17, the turn-over of this Uttrakhand based company was Rs. 10,500 crore. CEO of Patanjali, Acharya Balkrishna, who owns 97% of the company is also the 46th richest man in India. They have overthrown giants like Unilever in personal health care and have fanned over the entire FMCG market, making them consumer’s favourite.

But that’s not stopping Ramdev Baba and his close aide Balkrishna who are now planning to open “an extensive” restaurant chain. They are determined to overthrow fast food joints like McDonald’s, KFC and Subway.
