Man Finds A Lost Old Woman In Delhi Streets And Police Acts In ONLY 12 Mins. Respect!

Delhi-Police-Man-Helps-Old-Woman

In India, we all are well-versed with the ‘Indian Standard Time’ and the police, right? Nope! Not the exact full-form of the abbreviation but the pool of sarcasm it is dipped in. The jokes around it and the way it’s taken too casually. Yeah, that one! However funny people try to make it, following the IST is not something to take pride in.

Now, I don’t want to sound all preachy, but valuing someone’s time is right thing to do. And, being the perfect example of being prompt in action and treading on the right path is Delhi Police.

It so happened that an old woman was lost in the streets of Delhi, shortly after midnight, and a technical analyst, Nishant Singh found her.

He immediately contacted BJP spokesperson Tajinder Bagga asking for guidance in the matter. Nishant confirmed whether the right course of action will be contacting the police? And Mr. Bagga agreed.

Singh called and within a couple of minutes Delhi Police’s PCR Patrol Vehicle was on the way, reaching the spot.

Meanwhile, Nishant fed the old woman and enquired if she had cash on her for emergency purpses or not, which she did.

It was within 12 mins the patrol van arrived and the old lady was escorted by the police to the station.

We are not sure if the old woman was dropped at her place (which she didn’t remember the route to) later or not, but we’re assuming that she’s safe.

Twitter patted Nishant’s back for the act.

Can we for a moment pause on the shaming of the law enforcers and laud them for the good they do? There’s no denying that there are some people who let our faith in the law enforcement of our country dwindle, but then we cannot take away from the fact that there are righteous and dutiful officers too lurking around, doing their duties the right way.

And, there should be more men and women like Nishant, who lent a helping hand to a complete stranger, and put humanity above all. Thank you.
