Isn’t it annoying to face barriers while searching for true love? Either you come across the wrong kind of people or once you find “the one”, your family stands as an opposition. This causes desperation in some people…and desperation makes people do stupid things.
For example, a 60-year-old man in Rajasthan climbed an electric pole after his family opposed him getting married for the second time, reports Times Now.
The incident occurred in the Dholpur district of Rajasthan. The man, identified as Sobran Singh, lost his wife four years ago.
“Get me married to anyone. I just want a companion,” he says.
However, his five children and several grandchildren opposed him getting married for the second time. So Singh came up with a dangerous way to blackmail his family.
He climbed a long electric pole and sat there. Several people gathered to talk some sense into him but the man remained adamant. He even caught hold of a high tension wire and threatened to commit suicide.
Thankfully, his family had called the electricity department beforehand who then cut the power in the area.
Finally, a local climbed the pole and convinced the man to step down and eventually, he did. A video of the incident has gone viral online. Have a look:
