OLA Charged A Guy ₹ 149 Crores For A 300 Meters Ride And It Was NOT An April Fool’s Prank

Cab rides are getting expensive. Really, really expensive. So expensive that even both your kidneys cannot cover it. Quite literally.

Sushil Narsian from Mumbai booked an OLA cab from his residence in Mulund but the cab could not reach his location because the cab diver’s phone malfunctioned.

By the time Sushil reached the cab’s location, the driver cancelled the ride and drove away. Sushil tried to book another ride from his mobile app but was not able to do so.

That’s because, in the app, he saw that he owed OLA Rs. 1,49,10,51,648 for a cab ride he DID NOT take. OLA landed a final blow by deducting Rs. 127 from his OLA wallet.

Sushil must have thought that it was a cruel April Fool’s prank, but soon he realised that it’s not so.

Obviously, he was not going let it slide so easily. Because he was pretty sure there was a minor glitch in the app. He took to Twitter and Facebook to let OLA know what happened.

And people gave hilarious responses to the photo he shared on Facebook

Finally, OLA did respond to his April Fool’s nightmare by explaining to him that it was a bug in the mobile application.

Please take a look at the special code he got from OLA. Now that’s how you deal with a sticky situation like this one!

And even though Sushil was very disappointed with the incident, according to NDTV, he still uses the application today.

Good sports, both of them.
