Congratulations are in order as Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got legally married to her long-term boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare recently. However, their wedding was unlike anything we have seen recently. For one, Nupur Shikhare, who is a fitness trainer, jogged from Santacruz in Mumbai to Bandra, which is about 8 kilometres to marry Ira Khan, reported India Today.

That’s not it.
The guy legit wore a vest, a pair of shorts, and a pair of sneakers while getting registered to Ira, who was decked up as a bride (even though an unconventional one but a bride nevertheless).
The bride and the groom had written a set of vows for each other, which Nupur read out loud while wearing the same outfit.

The wedding registration took place at Taj Ends on January 3 amidst very close friends and family followed by a reception for limited guests. A grand wedding is reportedly set to take place on January 8 in Udaipur and a reception will also be hosted for their friends from the film industry.
However, a lot of people on the internet found Nupur’s outfit ridiculous and embarrassing. Many called him out for trying to be too woke and casual and ruining a perfect and important day of his and Ira’s life. Here’s how some of them reacted:
