Nia Sharma, actress and TV personality, shot to fame after she emerged as the third sexiest Asian woman, beating the likes of Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. And was busy living her Insta-famous life before the brigade of online creeps decided to plague her timeline with lewd and distasteful comments for a video she posted.
Why? Because she looked like a ‘porn star’ who didn’t know any ‘sense of dressing’! (Please tell me, you’re well versed with sarcasm?)
Although the ‘Jamai Raja’ star gave it back to the perverts, in a classic comeback by posting another steamy video, doing what she does best, the magnitude of filthy vile that was outpoured has made her sick in the stomach.
In an interview to Hindustan Times, Nia has gone ahead and expressed her disgust and anger at all that went down because she chose to share a preview of her work.
“Are people mad? It was not a drunk post. We were having fun while shooting a music video. People on social media hide behind anonymity and feel they can get away with.
If someone spoke this way to me in person, I would punch their face.”
Nia even went ahead to question the testing times, India and her daughters have found themselves in. She also responded to her being called a ‘slut’ and made the most sense!
It didn’t stop at that, Nia also sent some major burns for people who tried to put her down by thanking them for the ‘publicity’.
“It was so silly. It is a shame that I have to explain myself. I didn’t intend to make headlines when I put up the post, but thanks for the publicity.”
The trolls should take a chill pill now! Or, some aloe-vera for the burn, maybe?
