Your hair flying around in cinematic style, the soothing wind blowing on your face, the unobstructed view, all in all, a scene straight out of a movie. This over-romanticised idea approach towards standing by the door of a moving train is one that many love to replicate. However, they overestimate the extent of their balancing capabilities, forgetting that in movies the hero and heroine have a whole team of people in charge of their safety.
Though this woman in Mumbai did not have a dedicated team to take care of her safety as she stood by the compartment footpath of a moving train, she was lucky enough to have alert co-passengers who were quick on their feet.
According to News 18, the incident occurred on a Mumbai local train on Tuesday when the woman was standing by the edge of the compartment door.
In a video making the rounds of the internet, she can be seen adjusting what seems like her headphones when she loses balance and falls off the train, just as another train passes by.
Fortunately, the passengers surrounding her quickly pull her back up, saving her life.

Now, that’s an extremely close shave to death she escaped from. Hopefully, she’s learned her lesson and will be giving the compartment footpath a wide berth from here on.
