Every day, thousands of people are getting infected with coronavirus and many are losing their lives too. The pandemic has reportedly shattered Indian economy and has left millions of people jobless. But, in other news, Indian businessman and chairman of Reliance Industry Ltd, Mukesh Ambani has been making Rs 90 crore an hour since the lockdown.
According to The Indian Express, Ambani’s wealth rose by Rs 2,77,000 crore to Rs 6,58,000 crore, helping him retain the top spot on the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2020 for the 9th consecutive year.
The 63-year-old business magnate cumulated the hefty sum of money through a series of fund-raising and investments. His wealth rose by 73% in the past six months.
While most of us have been working overtime at home for peanuts, this man has been getting richer with every passing minute. Well, this obviously didn’t go down well with many people online.
