The mass molestation incident in Bengaluru was utterly deplorable. However, what was truly disappointing was the fact that prominent entities even made an attempt to justify the act. ‘It happens’, was the trending waste of an excuse. While the incident itself is a despicable one, the fact that so many people made an effort to normalise such an event felt even worse.

In this video, uploaded by Prank Baaz – Bachke Rehna re Baba!, two guys took to the streets in order to gauge public sentiment regarding such incidents and who should be blamed. While one would expect a largely progressive response, what they found was quite distressing.
