Gertrude Stein once said, “America is my country and Paris is my hometown.”
Every great writer and artist has discovered some piece of his creativity in Paris. Be it Ernest Hemingway or Pablo Picasso; F. Scott Fitzgerald or Salvador Dali. Paris has some kind of magic, and Woody Allen captured it beautifully in his film, ‘Midnight In Paris’.
With Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Marion Cotillard giving brilliant performances, the movie is filled with beautiful lines and fragments which give you another kind of high.
Here are some of the best ones…
1. Touché!
2. Only if there was a solution to that…
3. But writers have their own charm.
4. And both are equally bad.
5. He didn’t hold anything back.
6. Truth itself tells a lot of stories…
7. Neither can I.
8. He painted them like a dream, though.
9. Well, no arguments there.
10. And denial is a bitch (pardon my language).
11. It most definitely does.
12. Life is in those little things…
Paris is always a good idea! ? ❤️
