McDonald’s Customer Gets Thrashed After Abusing Employee Who Stopped Her From Stealing Soda

Customer service is a necessary part of every institution. However, it’s a very thankless job. An employee’s dedication goes almost unnoticed until there’s even a hint of a problem. And if that’s brought to the knowledge of the employer, they usually get a hard time for it. That said, if you know you’re going to get kicked out for doing the right thing, you better go out with a blast. Just like this McDonald’s employee.

According to the Daily Mail, it was a normal day at a McDonald’s outlet. However, after a customer tried to steal some free soda, things went sideways very quickly and very painfully.

Nevada resident Marie Dayag was at a McDonald’s outlet and she began filming when a fight broke over the customer’s decision to get some free soda. The customer began throwing french fries and milkshake at the employee but the employee wasn’t having any of that. So, she stormed at her, grabbed her by the hair and punched the living hell out of the girl.

The fight was nearly over as the rest of the staff came to break it up. However, as the customer was being separated, she began hurling punches at the staff. That’s when she caught some more fists from the other employees and a final beat down by the strongest employee in the house. In case you’re feeling bad for the customer, don’t, because she was heard repeatedly screaming ‘fight me’ across the restaurant.

Most scenarios don’t play out in favour of the employee, but this time it did and netizens thanked her for teaching the customer a lesson.

1. In all seriousness, she had it coming.

2. That’s actually good customer service then?

3. Hands up! The Pun Police is here to arrest you.

4. She’s McLovin’ it.

5. They’re not lying.

TMZ has reported that the McDonald’s outlet hasn’t condoned their employee’s behaviour. However, since she hasn’t been fired, it probably means that they’ve stood behind her after watching the footage. Now, this doesn’t mean that customers should be dealt in this way. However, if it’s a rude one, maybe the phrase “the customer’s always right” can take a day off and they should be taught how to behave in public places.
