This Man Didn’t Know The Address So He Drew A Map On The Envelope And Voila, It Was Delivered!

If you have mailed letters, how many times has the letter come back to you just because you write the PIN code of the place wrong? Or even the address wrong. The digital form has not improved either. You write one character wrong and the mail goes to someone else.

A tourist who visited Iceland recently had a bigger problem. He didn’t know the address of the farm owner he stayed with for his trip. The farm owner had been extremely nice to him. He desperately wanted to send a thank you note to the kind host who made his stay in Iceland memorable.

What could he do? He did the next best thing. He drew the location of the farm along with the roads and all. Like this –

Then he posted the envelope hoping for the best, and you know what?! It reached its correct destination!

The postman used the helpful map to locate the farm owner and delivered the letter to him. The farmer lived in the small town of Búðardalur, Hólar, Iceland.

The next time you do not remember the address, try drawing the map!
