So a man apparently decided to get his hands on alcohol stock for the season but for free. When he spotted an empty HGV cab full of bottles of liqueur, decided to disguise himself as a delivery boy. He attached the trailer which had around 3000 bottles of Jameson Irish whiskey to his ride and drove away.
The incident happened at McBurney Transport on Dunes Way in Liverpool. Cops made a public appeal for more information when they found the empty trailer of booze in a nearby area. Describing the incident in detail, a spokesperson told Echo, “We’re appealing for information following the high-value theft of whiskey from premises in Kirkdale.”
