Heartbroken Man Reunites With His Missing Wife After Looking For Her For 8 MONTHS!

“God helps those who help themselves”, the old saying came true for Tapeshwar Singh, a 40-year-old poor migrant from Bihar who finally found his missing wife after looking for her vigorously for over 8 months.

Singh, a resident of Meerut, was in a state of utter shock when his wife Babita suddenly disappeared one day in February. They had been married for three years. Since then, the devout husband followed every lead to find her on a shaky bicycle.

Singh, a daily wage earner, whose only happiness was the presence of Babita in his life, would cycle for hours in the hope of finding the love of his life. He didn’t even have food to eat on a lot of days, but that didn’t stop him.

 

One day, he came to know about a notorious pimp of Meerut, who allegedly bought his wife for human trafficking, but the deal went sour because of her mental condition.

Even after facing so many challenges, he didn’t lose hope and didn’t stop his journey.

 

A Police complaint was then lodged but it was all in vain, as there was no sign of Babita. But Singh, determined in his endeavour even crossed the state borders and reached Uttarakhand.

Someone in Brijghat tipped Singh that he thought he saw his wife begging in Haridwar and he made no delay in reaching there.

 

And then the miracle happened, Singh’s faith paid off and he found his wife sitting on the roadside in Haridwar. When asked how he felt, he said,

“I first rubbed my eyes in disbelief. She was covered just in tatters, but it was her. Her sight almost paralyzed me.”

 

When asked about the sacrifices he made, Singh said,

“For eight months I had searched for her day and night. I spent every penny I had saved in the last decade on a journey that sometimes seemed futile. But there she was.”

Upon asking how she came this far from home, Babita said she didn’t know how she ended up there, but she too was looking for her husband.

Singh’s story seems like a modern day fairy tale. The ordeal he went through can not be explained in words, but his story is an inspiration for us all that we should never give up on the people we love.
