Mahira Wanted ‘Raees’ To Make 100 Crores On Day 1 And SRK Had An Epic Comeback To That!

SRK starrer Rahul Dholakia directorial ‘Raees’ is doing extremely well despite the clash with Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’. High on dialoguebaazi and Shah Rukh’s bad-boy-with-a-good-heart charm the film is minting crores. And, even though it has not released in Pakistan, film’s leading lady Mahira Khan is all psyched about its worldwide success.

Mahira marked her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which is every actress’ dream debut. But, sadly following the ban on Pakistani actors, she was not allowed to promote the film in India.

But she joined in the post-release success Press Conference via video calling. And, there was even a closed media interaction, too.

 

Naturally, she was asked about how she was feeling about Raees‘s success. Mahira chirped that it was amazing to be a part of a film that was in the 200 crore club. She said,

 

To that, SRK had the wittiest comeback. He explained in his classic style,

“You know what Ritesh (Sidhwani) told Mahira, he told her ‘No Mahira, the film stars Shah Rukh and not Salman or Aamir.”
