You’ll Be Able To Hear Mahatma Gandhi’s ‘Heartbeat’ At National Gandhi Museum From Oct 2

Born on October 2nd, 1869, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was one of the most significant figure in India’s historic independence movement that brought an end to the British rule. The iconic leader was assassinated on January 30, 1948, 5 months after the country tasted freedom.

However, October 2nd, 2018, will mark the 150th birth anniversary of the iconic leader. And in a bid to make it special, Delhi’s National Gandhi Museum has come up with a unique treat for its visitors.

According to News 18, people visiting the National Gandhi Museum will now be able to listen to the “recreated heartbeats” of Mahatma Gandhi from October 2.

Speaking about the same, the director of the museum, A Annamalai said,

“We have gathered the ECG (electrocardiography) details from different stages of Gandhi ji’s life and recreated his heart beat on the digital medium. This will be a very interesting feature for the public.”

That’s not all. The eve of the Gandhi Jayanti will host a special photo exhibition on the theme of ‘Non-violence and World Peace’.

The kit has been priced at Rs 300 and is also likely to have sponsors.

Do give it a shot, folks. And of course, thank us later for the valuable piece of information.
