Regional cinema has been doing quite well at the box office in recent years. With Gujarati cinema producing hits like ‘Chelo Diwas’ and Marathi cinema delivering a par excellence film like ‘Natsamrat’, starring Nana Patekar, & Assamese film ‘Village Rockstars’ winning the National Award, the bar has been set quite high already.
Bollywood’s dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit Nene is back to charm us with her first ever Marathi film, Bucket List, co-produced by the famed Karan Johar and directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar.
It talks about a woman fulfilling someone else’s Bucket List and going on to learn the real happiness of life.
Things like riding a bike, getting drunk, dancing in public and so much more. The film is all about living your life to the fullest and it has a brilliant star-cast too.
For starters, Renuka Shahane will be seen sharing the screen with Madhuri for the first time since ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’.
Next, we’ll see Sumeet Raghavan (remember Sahil Sarabhai?) playing an important character too.
Finally, and this is too good to miss, Ranbir Kapoor will make a guest appearance in this lovely film.
