We’ve all been ‘hangry’ while impatiently waiting for our food delivery fella. From hopefully eyeing the door, to perpetually tracking his arrival on the app; the dreaded moment comes when he calls you announcing he can’t find your location. A man in Ludhiana sought to avoid such a tragedy.
In the interests of encouraging a speedy delivery, he went a little overboard penning down directions to his home. But, we’ve got to hand it to this Punjabi guy for specifying his address in meticulous (to the point of hilarious) detail.

In case, you lost the essence in translation, much like I did; here are his directions loosely translated. Let’s just say, if you went with these to his ‘elaka’, you’d be able to find his home blindfolded!
“Come inside, then turn right at the traffic light. Come straight inside, you’ll see suvidha kendra. Then turn right, there will be a broken road, turn into that lane, and take the first left.
Skip two lanes and take a right into the lane with a green gate.”
In his defence winding gullies in practically every city mandate directions in excruciating detail. It is especially critical if you expect a hot burger. Well, we’re sure the delivery guy didn’t miss the mark and found the man who passionately penned down the essay-like directions.
The invoice, complete with the address, soon made it’s way to a Facebook post and has since been garnering a bunch of laughs.
A lot of netizens seem to be marvelling the fact that the man put in all that hard work merely for an Egg Burger costing Rs 50. But hey, we’re foodies so we can totally relate. Can’t you?
