Parmesan, Ricotta, Mozzarella or Cottage, no matter which type we prefer, there’s no denying the fact that cheese is comforting AF. Whether it is served with macaroni, sprinkled on pizza, filled in ravioli or spread on toast, the gooey, melty and stringy goodness always satisfies our cravings. But have you ever seen it placed between the pages of a book?
According to Mail Online, a librarian at the University of Liverpool recently shared a picture of a slice of cheese with a caption, “This is not a bookmark”. Subsequent tweets revealed that the staff had found it being used as a bookmark in one of the volumes.

Pretty soon, the post amassed 35,000 retweets and 209,000 likes which prompted the handle to challenge #LibraryTwitter into coming up with the most brie-lliant pun for the incident, reports The Indian Express.
Early reactions included the choice of bookmark being related to a crime kyunki yeh gunaah hai.

Then, cheese-enthusiasts got to work and dished out jokes, each one feta than the previous one. Take a look.

Earlier, when the people of the internet found out that dolphins like to get high with the help of Pufferfish, stoner jokes followed.
