They said ” You‘re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child.” But, frankly speaking, you needn’t read one if you set good examples for them every day. A child’s innocence is that of a mountain. It has sediments of emotions, things that they see, voices that they hear, and ideas that they are induced in their minds.
While we are hovering over what is happening outside the houses, on the streets, at parking lots shrouded with darkness and inside local transport that takes young ladies on a hallelujah ride, never to return as the same person; we stand heedless to the dreadful acts that happen within the house.
Women’s safety begins at home.
