Delhi Shocker: Kidnapped 2-Year-Old Boy Put Up For Sale On WhatsApp For 1.8 Lakh

There is only so much that we can take, don’t we? I mean, I know that our world is a gigantic mess and that most people are sadists, pervs or simply inhuman, but how far it can go? Murders, hate-crimes and rape/molestation are an everyday affair and somehow we have just subconsciously stopped letting it affect us.

But it shouldn’t. And this one incident that took place in our capital city with an innocent little kid, will make you rage-cry.

In a hideous crime that took place in Delhi, a 2-year-old toddler was posed an item on sale on a WhatApp group for Rs. 1.8 Lakh. The ad was posted by a woman named Saroj, who bought the kid from another woman, Sonia for Rs. 1.10 Lakh.

The kid was kidnapped from Jama Masjid on June 5 when his parents were preparing for a prayer.

The kid was picked up by a man named Jaan Mohammad but the master plan was made by a woman called, Radha (40). Radha gagged the toddler and kept him at her home in Shakurpur for a few days. She then sold him to Sonia (24) for 1 Lakh.

The kid was purchased and sold off as a commodity by three women in succession. Everyone was determined to sell him on a higher price. When Saroj put up an ad for him, one of the potential “buyers” informed the police about the sale. The police said –

“Fortunately, a Whatsapp user had seen the boy’s picture on television. On seeing his picture in a WhatsApp group, this person contacted the Jama Masjid police station.”

Somehow, Saroj got the wind of the entire situation and herself called the police and posed as someone who found the “abandoned child” at Raghubir Nagar temple. But the police tracked her and all the other women too.

Police suspects that three women met each other at IVF clinic where they sell their eggs for couples who can’t conceive. These women look for childless couples and “convince” them into buying grown children.

This just makes my heart sinks. I can’t imagine the plight of a 2-year-old being sold from one heartless woman to another, like some kind of a bargain. The horror that toddler has been through at such early age is unspeakable of. Whatever happened to compassion and humanity!
